MACA is pleased to offer a two day “Making the Most of Microsoft Access” class taught by founding member, Christopher Bruce. This hands-on class is designed to help crime analysts and public safety professionals leverage Microsoft Access for data management, cleaning, filtering, and aggregation.
Microsoft Access remains one of the most practical and powerful tools available to analysts for structuring and querying large datasets. This course focuses on real-world application, enabling participants to supplement and enhance data exported from Records Management Systems (RMS) and other law enforcement data sources.
Participants will leave the training with a working sample database and practical skills they can immediately apply to their own agency datasets.
Participants must bring a laptop with:
Microsoft Office 2019 or later, or Microsoft 365
Microsoft Access installed
ArcGIS Pro is helpful for one lesson but not required.
Wednesday May 20th and Thursday May 21st from 9am - 4pm.
This will be a 2 day class, via Zoom and in person at Medford PD.
This class is open to MACA members in good standing. Registration will be limited.
